Can do a rooftop tent with the Land cruiser Troopy?
You’ve got to choose one option. If you plan to go mid-range camping in East Africa, where you excitingly sleep on the roof of your 4×4 troopy, we suggest renting the 4×4 Land cruiser Troopy with dome tents instead. However, because the vehicle’s booth is quite small, we choose to remove the last row of seats to create more storage space or room for both the camping gear and your luggage (Suitcases) so the car’s seating capacity is reduced to four people instead of six persons. 4×4 Land cruiser Troopy Specifications
Please note that while we ensure that the 4×4 land cruiser troopy as well as all our vehicles we rent out are well-maintained and in good mechanical conditions, they are not new. As a result, the driving comfort and quality of features, such as the sound, vibration may not be comparable to what you might experience in a new car you drive back home or rented car in Southern Africa if you have ever had a self-drive trip there. The roads in East Africa are not as well-maintained as those in Southern Africa, which are generally better suited for self-drive trips and not cause much wear and tear on the self-drive car.
You are likely not to find a new 4×4 Land cruiser troopy for safari rental in East Africa. The classic Land cruisers you usually see on East Africa streets, can be twenty years old, though you shouldn’t let this fool you. It’s for a good reason and mainly adventure reasons, they are extremely powerful and very reliable legendary land cruisers, and with no electronics that could waste your time as you wait for a specialist mechanic to attend to it, it is simply made for travel in the bush.
