Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
This first day is your arrival at Kigali International Airport, depending on your time of arrival if time allows will take a Kigali city tour. And supposedly will visit the famous Kigali genocide memorial museum. Then, will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Breakfast, this morning drive to Akagera National Park eastern Rwanda, the only savannah a remnant. Reaching the park with lunch en-route will take an afternoon game drive and then relax for the next day. It’s a rewarding with an opportunity to watch the big five lousily wandering; lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and herds Kobs, bushbuck, duikers, rhinos, hippos, zebras among so many others, accompanies by several of bird species. Then will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight
Mid-range: Akagera Game Lodge
Day 3: Explore Akagera National Park
A picnic under the sun arrays, and embark for a morning nature walks through the savannah, and swampy landscapes of Kagera along the Akagera River. Then, en-route for lunch and take an afternoon boat cruiser on Lake Ihema watching crocodiles, hippos, several water birds like shoebill stork, kingfisher among others. Then will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight
Mid-range: Akagera Game Lodge
Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Breakfast, then rewind your drive passed Kigali and proceed northwards to Volcanos National Park. With lunch en-route in Masanze town, will drive further to Dain Fossey tombs. The drive will give you an analytical insight about gorilla conservation. Then, later on will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Trek gorillas and Transfer back to Kigali
Breakfast, will drive to the starting point at Volcanos National Park at least 30 minutes prior to the trekking time. Be briefed about trekking, be grouped and under the lead of an armed ranger guide embark into the jungle for the day’s hunt. The search for the gorillas can last for 30 minutes to 4 hours walking into the rush, unmade path, sometimes moist and slippery grounds until your find the gentle giants in the deep. At the sight of the gorillas you have strictly one hour of watching and be entertained. Then return to your lodge, refresh and with lunch-route you will drive back to Kigali International Airport for next flight back home.
