Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Your flight to Rwanda arrives, when time allows, will have a city drive through the Rwanda’s thrilling city of Kigali. Can visit Rwanda’s local markets in the capital, visit the Gisenyi Genocide Memorial site.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe

The day you drive from Kigali to Nyungwe, this is among the most thrilling places to visit while in Rwanda. The journey to southern of Rwanda is endowed with stunning hilly landscapes, thick forests, and visiting the park be expectant for chimp  anzee and canopy walk. Reaching the Park will undertake the canopy walk for this day.

Day 3: Track chimpanzee and drive back to Kigali

This day followed by served breakfast, will take the morning chimpanzee tracking session. It’s a nature walk which leads you close to nature. Once you meet the trackers and are with the chimpanzees, you’ll have an hour to observe them, so the all process of seeing the chimpanzee can last for about 4 hours. Return to your lodge for lunch and embark on a drive to Lake Kive for the Overnight on one of the amazing lodge the sandy shores of the lake.

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes and track golden monkeys

This day will take an early drive from Lake Kivu to Volcanoes National Park. The drive has to start from 5am and can last for about 2 and half hours to reach Volcanoes National Park. Then reaching, then head for the Golden Monkey Tracking. This is one of Africa’s rarest primates and can be found playing and feeding in the rich bamboo forests.

After tracking, will have lunch served at any close restaurant and continue to drive crossing the border to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Will use the Cyanika border point.

Day 4: Trek Mountain Gorilla and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Today, is a day to see human closest cousins the mountain gorillas. The trek embarks at 7:30am and starts with a briefing, and a lead into the forest can last for about 6 hours of searching and interacting with the gorillas on sight for an hour. Trekking is done from the 4 sectors in the park and the closest sectors when crossed from Cyanika are Ruhija and Rushaga sectors.

Then will drive to Lake Bunyonyi and take the afternoon boat ride to some of the island. And enjoy your lovely night at one of the amazing lodge around the Lake.

Day 5: Transfer to Ishasha Sector Queen Elizabeth National Park

This morning will take a drive leading to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Par. The opportunity to take a game viewing session to search for the rare tree climbing lions of the areas plus many other games in savannah plains dotted with woods.

Day 6: Transfer Kibale National Park, and Track chimpanzee

Breakfast, then transfer to Kibale National Park which is about 3 hours’ drive, reaching the park will relax with a lunch refreshment. Track the chimpanzee in the second tracking session of the day. The track lasts for about 3 to 4 hours to search and spend an hour with the chimpanzee on their sight.

Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast, and will take a long drive to Murchison Falls National Park, it’s about 6 to 7 hours of driving. Murchison Falls National Park for your own information is Uganda’s most attracting and most visited park. Considering lunch en-route along the drive, when reached the park before checking in at your lodge, will take a drive to the top of the falls to fill the moist fuming of the falls. Then, check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Game Drive and a boat cruise

Breakfast, taking a game viewing drive is one of the rewarding thing to do at Murchison Falls National Park. The game drive on the northern bank of the park is a thriller encounter with prides of lions, leopard, herds of elephants, buffalos, antelopes, giraffes, zebras among so many others. The boat cruise comes in afternoon hours, it heads to the bottom pouring of the Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 9: Drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Drive to Kampala

The Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the only natural spot to watch rhinos in the natural stature in Uganda. And visiting the sanctuary, is an implication of having a full list of the Big five games watched in Uganda. Right, after the sanctuary, take lunch and a launch a drive to East Africa’s most charming capital of Kampala for the overnight.

Day 10: Transfer to Jinja for rafting

This morning will drive eastwards of Kampala through Jinja road to Jinja, or can use the Kayunga road to avoid this traffic headache on Jinja road. Reaching to Jinja will drive to the rafting point and take rafting sessions, the rafting session can last for half a day. Refresh with lunch and take the afternoon bungee jumping session. It’s a day for adrenaline adventures, and will have your exhausted night at one of your preferred lodge in Jinja.

Day 11: Transfer to Kenya, to Kisumu

Breakfast, continuing on the eastward drive via Malaba border will cross border to Kenya. Here you need to have the COMESA insurance which is needed with the car and this helped with your service operator. The drive will continue to Kisumu where you will have a rest for the day and overnight.

Day 12: Transfer to Nairobi city

Along your drive will have to visit the Nairobi National Park before settling in the capital. The Nairobi National Park makes possible to watch a lion, leopards roistering around in their natural life within the capital city, wonders of Kenya.

Day 13: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve

Morning breakfast, will drive southwards to world’s wonders of Masai Mara, relish a leisurely drive arriving in time for lunch. Before, entering the reserve, endeavor to the Masai community and enjoy the culture of tallest people in Kenya. After lunch, head for a game drive in search of wildlife that includes the Big 5, the drive should continue to the Mara River and watching such a bigger number of animals of wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, antelopes and many others.

Day 14: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

It’s about 3 hours’ drive from Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park, reaching the park will take an afternoon game drive. At the park is an opportunity to watch prides of lions and leopards, it’s more here. The herds of buffalos, antelopes, elephants makes Amboseli one of the parks not to miss on any of safari to Kenya.

Day 15: Drive to Kilimanjaro National Park

From Amboseli, the Kilimanjaro range overlooked, then it’s to cross the border to this amazing park which Africa’s highest mountain. The drive may take long hours, reaching your park in Tanzania will have to rest at your lodge.

Day 16: Hiking the Kilimanjaro

As you watch this Africa’s highest peak, will take a simple walk of hiking and return to your lodge earlier and rest. You need to refresh and memorize for the past days.

Day 17: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park, with a lunch en-route on a scenic drive. Reaching the park in the afternoon, take on another game drive in Serengeti National Park.  If you want to spot the Big Five lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo- all in one park, then Serengeti is the best place to do so.

Day 18: Enjoy the riches of Serengeti National Park

Breakfast, will spend the day in Serengeti National Park having game drives in the park.  Depending on which time of the year you visit this park, you can also witness the famous Great Migration comprising of so many wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras present it is no wonder the Serengeti is also home to 4,000 lions and 1,000 leopards. Apart from the Big Five, the Serengeti boasts the cheetah, jackal, hyena, serval, aardvark and so many other animals reside in the Serengeti wide open savannah plain.

Day 19: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

Breakfast, then will depart for Serengeti National Park arriving in time for lunch. Take a game drive in the crater that teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and a small population of the rare black rhino.

Day 20: Ngorongoro Crater and Manyara

Breakfast, will lunch into a relishing morning game drive rewarding with much more of the animals. And at the end with transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, its evening hours and you have to refresh and relax for another day to come.

Day 21: Lake Manyara  

Breakfast, take a game drive through the savannah woods watching variety of games including the rare tree climbing lions are mainly evident here. Then, after the lunch hours, the afternoon boat ride on Lake Manyara makes your safari look different in Tanzania.

Day 22: Drive to Arusha

This day will drive to Arush early morning following your breakfast, it can be about 6 hours’ drive, reaching have to relax and or take a drive through the city, or enjoy a nightlife at the capital.

Day 23: Drive to Der es Salaam

The full day drive from Arusha to Der es Salaam, the drive is one of the longest you can drive, but with lunch en-routes and several stopovers for relaxation, you realize that driving from Arusha to port of Der es Salaam.

Day 24: Der es Salaam

Today, enjoy the life of white sand beach, your long east African trip is ended with a refreshing time at the sand beaches of Der es Salaam on the Indian Ocean in Tanzania.

Day 25: Have your flight back home

Breakfast, relax and drive to Der es Salaam airport for your flight back to your country.
