Detailed Trip

Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport and Transfer to Volcanoes

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, will transfer from to northern side of Kigali to Musane (Volcanoes National Park). The distance to drive here is about 115km2, which is about 3hours drive, on reaching will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Kigali – Volcanoes National park

This morning proceed to the National Park headquarters to embark on a once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas. The experience starts with a briefing, where you’re even grouped, get assigned to an armed ranger and roll into the jungle. The trekking may be fairly strenuous, and can proceed for six hours at a relatively high altitude. For your own enjoyment, physical fitness with no health complication is required.

Afterwards will drive to Lake Kivu to around the borders of Rwanda and DR Congo, this stunning destination to relax off, will take an evening boat ride and then relax for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

This morning will proceed with a relaxed morning drive to far southern corner of Rwanda to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Reaching the park will be in the afternoon hours, enjoy your lunch relax and take an evening canopy walk.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Kigali

Breakfast, this morning you’re to track chimpanzee. There are various tracking trails at Nyungwe forest leads into the tea leaves contours, thick forests, and bamboos depending on the group assigned to track. Chimpanzees at Nyungwe are habituated and trackers have a chance for a close-up encounter. The track can last between 30 minutes to about 3 hours searching for apes into the deep of the forest. And finding them, you have a limit of one hour in their presence.

With lunch en-route, will transfer back to Kigali, reaching the Africa’s smartest city will check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: Fly to Serengeti National Park

This morning will take an advantage and visit the Kigali genocide museum, and afterward will head take a flight from Kigali International Airport to Ndabaka western Serengeti park gate where you will your representatives who will pick you from the visitor’s center then start game

Enjoy your lunch and will take an afternoon game drive to evening then come back to the visitor’s center pick your car and drive to your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight. End of 5th day Rwanda and Tanzania Adventure.

Day 6 & 7: Serengeti Full day in Serengeti National Park

We have two full days in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year.

we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest.

We journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes: these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top, we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti.

This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions. If you are lucky the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as huge amounts of interesting birdlife. This will mark the end of 6th and 7th day Rwanda and Tanzania Adventure

Day 8 & 9: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you and drive to Ngorongoro crater descend down to the crater floor for a full day of tracking game with your guide.

The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena.

Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare. Later after a wonderful excursion in the crater you will drive direct to the airport to connect you with a flight direct to Zanzibar.

Day 10: Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant’s herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed.

There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world!

The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. Later after game drive you will be transferred to the airport to connect you with your flight to Zanzibar. End of 10th day Rwanda and Tanzania adventure

Day 11: Zanzibar Relaxing at the Hotel

On this day you will relax at your hotel and enjoy hotel activities.

Day 12: Spice Farm tour

Today proceed with the excursion to the spice farm, the tour is a special spice experience with in-depth information not only about spices but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description of their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour, we invite for an opulent lunch at our guides’ home, where you can taste the spices and fruits. After the tour your will drive back to your Hotel for dinner and overnight. End of 12nd day Rwanda and Tanzania Adventure.

Day 13: Zanzibar Safari Blue

You will be picked in Morning from your hotel to Fumba village where you will meet your special boat special Guided safari blue tour:

It is about visiting three different sandbanks and you stop in one of those for Seafood lunch whereby later you do snorkeling and having the chance of seeing the dolphin.

It is full day tour. Then drive to the North Zanzibar Nungwi for your stay. End of 13rd day Rwanda and Tanzania Adventure.

Day 14: Zanzibar Mnemba Island Tour

Mnemba Island (The heaven on earth), this is one of the best spots in Africa for underwater adventures.

Mnemba Atoll – Located North East Coast of the Zanzibar Island. Tourists flock here to combine a relaxation with scuba diving or snorkeling at the incredibly colorful and diverse reefs that surround the island.

This atoll features an easy dive down to about 20 meters and quite a bit of coral, you can also spot dolphins and sea turtles due to the deeper water in the area.

Snorkeling in Mnemba Atoll offers you a stunning underwater world with schools of tropical reef fish, turtles, dolphins and beautiful hard and soft coral formations.

Between the snorkeling times you can stay on the boats and taste fresh seasonal fruits and end your trip with some fresh grilled seafood BBQ. End of 14th day Rwanda and Tanzania adventure.
